Graham picking 'Graham Thomas' roses early May 2009.

Our first friendly garden snake of the season. (Returned to the dirt an hour later...)

Cabbages are on the way!

Brocolli - no cancer here!

We have a few radishes.

Mr. Worm with our Brandywine Heirloom plant from seed.

Here is how I mulch. Newspaper first, then layer with hay.

Now the tomato cage to keep Sadie the Doberman out now and the plant supported later.

More papering and hay. The green is weeds on the way. UGH!

I upgraded our poultry fence to hardware cloth this year. More sturdy and much cleaner look.

The weeds have taken over the radish and beet rows, but fear not! Veggies lie below....

Beets!

Graham & Rapley - my best veggie pickers!

From the dirt to the table.

Oh, my!

And of course, sugar snaps and sno peas with dinner.
