So, here I am getting ready to tackle my VERY OVERGROWN Garden! It's mid-June and I've had to put the 'Growies' on hold while I emptied our home for some remodel work.

My beautiful Cross Vine is out of control. It's only one vine. Can you believe it?

As seen from the back here, the weeds and nut-grass (from the manure) are taking me over.

COnfirmation - weeds are present! In the foreground here is my amphitheater of day lilies. They were originally planted by our predecessors, the Thomas's. I moved over 1500 bulbs while pregnant with Graham to relocate them during tree removal. Ms. Anette is smiling down on them:)!

This is what's left of the beets, radishes and failed carrot rows.

These are our Rutgers Heirloom tomatoes that we started from seed. Wait 'til you see how they've taken off!

My Mommy's allium!! I dug them up in Knoxville just before selling her house. These are just like fireworks and they look spectacular after a good rain. Mommy always planted them and never ate them, so we are following suit.

Better Boys - starting to brown a lillte. I am getting ready to install soaker hoses. I think this will fix the problem. Need water from the ground down.

Romas - some branches are withering away and leaves turning brown down low. Hope the soaker hose will do the trick.

Another Roma. Note browning leaves & withering branches down low on plant.
